LELLO LADIES ISN’T JUST A GROUP. IT’S A MOVEMENT!

The Birth of Lello Ladies

By Chezzi Denyer

Lello was born in a moment of quiet triumph.

I had just completed my final exam for an intensive, eight-month Mediumship course, and the feeling that flooded me was unlike anything I’d ever known. I’ve had some monumental achievements in my life—many of them prestigious, shiny, and widely celebrated—but none came close to the sacred pride I felt in that moment. Not one.

What made it even more profound was that this journey didn’t come naturally or easily. In fact, I fought it—hard.

I was a journalist by trade.
I played with facts. Tangible things. Verifiable truth.
Not the so-called whimsical. Not the woo.
I prided myself on logic, structure, clarity.
So the idea of stepping into a world of energy, spirit, and intuition?
It felt… dangerous. Even foolish.

But what I’ve come to realise is that truth exists beyond what we can measure.

There are forms of knowing that don’t come with footnotes or headlines.

And sometimes the most powerful truths are the ones we feel—not the ones we can prove.

For so long, I resisted anything remotely “spiritual.” I didn’t want to be the weird one. The hippy. The fraud. I had built a life and a persona that was grounded, professional, respectable. And yet, there I was—getting up at 4am for online classes with an overseas mediumship school, quietly waking something ancient and true inside me.

When I first shared online that I was studying mediumship, the backlash hit hard. Hate mail. Bible verses condemning me. Warnings about portals and demons and sickness. People told me I was inviting evil into my home and would pay the price with my family’s safety. I’ve received criticism before—being in the public eye means growing thick skin—but this was different. This was personal. This struck deep, awakening every buried fear I carried from childhood. The shame. The suppression. The silencing.

I tried to stop. So many times. I tried to walk away from it, to redirect, to pretend this wasn’t who I was. But I couldn’t. Spirit had other plans.

Grief became my turning point. Losing my good friend Amy Gullifer in 2022 changed me. It broke me. More than any other friend’s death, Amy’s left me broke wide open and wondering “what is it all for.” And she has been instrumental in this entire process—but from the “other side.”

Grief cracked me open. It made space. It showed me that what I was afraid of… was actually what I’d been searching for all along. Connecting with Spirit—my guides, my loved ones, my ancestors—wasn’t dark or dangerous like I had been told. It was healing. Gentle. Loving. Real. It actually made me feel whole again.

My children mirrored everything back to me during this time. Their sensitivity. Their purity. Their wonder. They helped me realise that this world doesn’t offer safe spaces for intuitive souls—especially women. And watching each of my children and their innate way of connecting and communicating with “the other side” (until we get taught not to) also helped me realise: this needs to change.

Because we are replacing our connection to intuition—our gut feelings—with anxiety. And I’ve seen this firsthand in my own life and in my kids. We are conditioned to doubt ourselves, to shrink, to fit into boxes that suffocate who we really are. We’ve buried our magic to survive. And when we live inauthentically we feel unsafe. When we lose touch with our inner knowing nothing feels right. And that’s when we live in fear. When we feel we need to control every aspect so we don’t get surprised or hurt.. But now? It’s time to remember.

That’s where the idea of Lello Ladies landed. Right in the middle of writing my book. Right after I finally said yes to who I really was.

At first, Lello was a name I was going to use to “hide” behind—a playful nickname that felt safer than standing fully in my power. But over time, it became clear to me that Lello was to become a symbolic sanctuary. A soul mission. A movement.

And now, I own it.

Lello Ladies is a space to rediscover your intuition. To explore the parts of yourself you’ve been told to silence. To laugh, cry, learn, remember, and rise—together. Because we are stronger when we do this handin-hand.

But let me be clear:

This isn’t your typical spiritual space.

And that’s exactly the point.

Let’s be honest—spirituality, as it’s often presented, can feel… off-putting. Too many terms. Too many tools. Too many egos wrapped in white robes claiming enlightenment. It’s become a scene—exclusive, overwhelming, and frankly, intimidating.

But it doesn’t need to be.

Lello is here to simplify the sacred.
To take spirituality off its pedestal and place it gently back into your everyday life—where it belongs.
No gatekeeping. No need to be an expert. No pressure to be perfect.

We’re not here to impress you with rituals and rules.
We’re here to remind you that you already are a spiritual being.
You’re energy. You’re light. You’re a soul in motion.

The only thing standing between you and your power is a story—one that told you you’re not enough. But that story was a lie. Sold to you by fear. Wrapped in shame.
And you don’t have to carry it anymore.

Because once upon a time… we knew better.

We lived in sync with the Earth.
We honoured death as a transition—not an ending.
We listened to the wind. We danced with our ancestors.
We felt held by something greater.

And now, we remember.

You are not broken.
You are not too much.
You are not lost.

You are being called—again—to feel it.
To trust it.
To live from your own deep inner knowing.

And you don’t need a single “skill” to start.
Let me repeat that, because it’s often a limiting factor… you don’t need a single skill to start.

Just curiosity.
An open mind.
A soft heart.
And a desire to feel more you than you’ve ever felt before.

Lello is not a religion.
It’s not a clique.
It’s not some exclusive club.

It’s a return.
To your intuition.
To your magic.
To your truth.

It’s a movement of women—and soon, children and men too—rising into the light of their own wisdom.
Learning how to trust themselves again.
Learning how to connect again.
Learning how to live again—with joy, meaning, purpose, and deep belonging.

That yearning you’ve had?
That ache for something more?
That nudge you’ve ignored?

It’s here now.

And together—we’re going to change the world.
And our own worlds.

Get excited.
I am.

    Lello = Yellow Heart 💛

    By Chezzi Denyer

The yellow heart is a symbol that radiates with meaning—both emotionally and spiritually.

💛 What Does a Yellow Heart Represent?

In its simplest form, the 💛 yellow heart emoji is often used to convey:

    • Friendship
    • Joy
    • Warmth
    • Pure love
    • Positivity

Unlike a red heart, which can carry romantic or passionate undertones, the yellow heart speaks to a gentle, steady, soul-level love—the kind that supports you quietly, consistently, and without condition.

    💛 Yellow as a Colour

    Yellow is the colour of:

    • The sun — life-giving, ever-present, and illuminating.
    • Happiness and hope — it brightens moods, energises the spirit, and opens the mind.
    • The solar plexus chakra — the energy centre associated with confidence, self-worth, and personal power.

In colour psychology and metaphysical healing, yellow:

    • Encourages clarity of thought and intellectual awakening
    • Helps us access our inner truth and intuition
    • Reminds us that we are powerful, and we are enough

💛 Golden Light from the Heart

When you visualise golden-yellow light emanating from your heart, you are connecting to:

    • Divine love
    • Soul radiance
    • Healing energy
    • Joy as medicine

This imagery represents your truest, highest self—the self that leads with warmth, compassion, courage, and trust in the unseen. It’s the light that touches others simply by you being you. It’s the beacon you send out into the world.

In the context of Lello Ladies:

The yellow heart is more than a symbol.
    It’s a mission statement.
It says: We lead with light. We love without fear. We radiate truth. And we remember who we are.
